  1. --Notes on how to get run the thrustmaster force feedback wheel.

  3.   In order to run with the force feedback wheel you will need to run xcar with the
  4. -F command line switch.  Currently the game will not be able to re-start the HAPTIC
  5. library so the game will have to be completely exited and re-started each time the library
  6. is initialized and closed.  This happens in joystick calibration, control selection and
  7. during a race.  I am assuming you know how to set up the com port in the citwheel.nmr
  8. file.

  10.   Most of the effects we have set up use frequency, magnitude and duration values which
  11. may be adjusted by editing the wheel.des text file.  These values are integers which will
  12. be divided by 10 to form fractions.  Maximum force for the wheel is .6 so higher numbers
  13. may not make a noticable difference in wheel performance.
